UHX™ is EMSCO®’s proprietary line of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene materials, engineered for superior wear performance in demanding industrial environments. Through specialized additives and a unique cross-linked molecular structure, UHX™ delivers exceptional abrasion resistance, impact strength, and chemical stability, outperforming standard polymers.

Its low coefficient of friction and non-stick surface promote excellent material flow in bulk handling and conveying systems—reducing hang-ups, buildup, and blockages without the need for vibrators or air cannons. UHX™ components are ideal for use in chutes, hoppers, tanks, and other areas exposed to sliding abrasion or material flow.

Available in sheet, rod, and custom-machined forms, UHX™ wear-resistant polymer is trusted across multiple industries including Power Generation, Petrochemical, Environmental, Pulp and Paper, and Bulk Solids Handling. The result is longer service life, quieter operation, and a significant reduction in maintenance and downtime—all backed by EMSCO®'s decades of fabrication expertise.
